As of 8 pm on Thursday, police teams are on-site to rescue those trapped in the wreckage. Notably, the scene has a history of severe accidents, with a previous tragic incident in the late 1990s involving a minibus that failed to brake, ending up in a trench, burying workers in muddy water. During the rescue operation, another trailer, unable to brake, collided with both rescuers and the existing wreckage, resulting in over 20 casualties.
