21-Year-Old Man Hacked to Death in Luwero

Luwero District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Police in Luwero District have launched investigations into the death of a 21-year-old man who was killed by unknown thugs. The victim has been identified as David Nangoza, a resident of Namaliga in Bombo Town Council.

Sam Twiineamazima, the Acting Savannah Regional Police spokesperson says that on Wednesday at around 6 p.m., the deceased left his parents’ home and went to an unknown place but never returned.

According to Twiineamazima, on Thursday Nangoza’s body was discovered lying in the middle of the road in a pool of blood. He said that the body had fresh wounds on the head and back.

In the past two months, murder cases have been registered in the Savannah region which comprises Luwero, Nakaseke, and Nakasongola.

Last week, police in Luwero District launched a manhunt for a woman for allegedly killing her husband who was a Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) soldier. The incident occurred on Friday in the Kizito Zone in Luwero Town Council. The victim was identified as Sgt. Oriema Cosma is attached to Makenke Barracks in Mbarara City.

Last month, police in Luwero District arrested a woman for allegedly killing her co-wife’s one-month and three-week-old daughter. The incident occurred at Kabembe village in Makulubita Sub-County. The deceased was identified as Moreen Nakirijja.
