3 Arrested in Mitooma Over PDM Bribery

Mitooma District | The Black Examiner – Authorities in Mitooma District have arrested two parish chiefs and one Sacco chairperson from Mutara Sub County on allegations of extorting money from people before giving them parish Development money.

The three; Robert Muhwezi, the parish chief of Ryakitanga parish, Aggrey Nyehangane, parish chief of Enshaka parish and Stuat Kabeho the chairperson of Ryakitanga PDM Sacco group were arrested on orders of the district security committee after getting complaints from people that they have been getting money from them.

According to Shariifah Nakintu, the Mitooma District Chief Administrative Officer noted that the above three were using their powers to extort money from all people before giving them money which is against the guidelines.
