Bukwo District |  The Black Examiner – A bodaboda rider, identified as Shedrack from Koikoi village in Burkeywo parish, Tulel subcounty, Bukwo district, has been viciously attacked and left in a coma by unknown assailants. The incident occurred when Shedrack was returning home from his work at China State Construction Engineering Company (CSCEC), where he worked as an excavator driver for the construction of the Kapchorwa-Saum highway. The attack took place in a secluded area where he was ambushed by two unidentified individuals.

According to reliable sources, Shedrack was intercepted by these two assailants at Kobelyo, situated in Mutushet subcounty, Bukwo District. Upon stopping, he was subjected to physical assault and strangulation, resulting in him falling into a coma.

The perpetrators, seemingly under the false impression that Shedrack was deceased, proceeded to abscond with a motorcycle registered as Re. KFMK 678M.

Passersby eventually discovered the incapacitated victim, who was reportedly experiencing hematemesis – the regurgitation of blood.

It is believed that the suspects fled in the direction of Kapchorwa, riding the stolen motorcycle.

At the time of compiling this report, law enforcement authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
