Hoima District LCV Chairman-Elect to be Sworn in Next Month

Hoima District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Hoima District newly elected District Chairperson Uthman Mubarak Mugisha will on October 26, 2023 be sworn into office.

Mugisha of the National Resistance Movement- NRM Party was declared the winner of the Hoima LCV by-election that was held on September 14, 2023.

Mugisa who is the son of the former LCV Chairperson Hoima, Kadir Kirungi who perished in an accident in March garnered 18,353 votes beating four other candidates who also participated in the race.

According to Swaibu Nyangabyaki, the Hoima district council speaker, council will convene on October 26, to witness the swearing in of the new LCV chairman who will then announce his new executive and thereafter address council.
