Martha Nkwanzi has turned herself in at Nakawa Chief Magistrate’s Court to be charged in regards to her father’s murder.

Nkwanzi was issued with a warrant of arrest on Monday this week. According to earlier prosecution, Nkwanzi is to face charges of destroying valuable evidence in the shooting of a city tycoon money lender Henry Katanga.

Until this afternoon, Nkwanzi had evaded prosecution since November last year when her lawyers informed the court that she was being treated for postpartum trauma at Rosewell Hospital.

Nkwanzi Martha Katanga was charged with tampering with the evidence at the crime scene at the time her father passed on.

Nkwanzi will now join her sister, Patricia Kakwanza, Dr, Charles Otai and George Amanyire in Luzira Prisons.
