Alex Oryang Chono, a faculty member in the Department of Public Administration and Management at Lira University, passed away yesterday in Lira City after collapsing while entering his car.

The incident occurred at 5 pm, shortly after the 40-year-old Alex Oryang Chono had completed his grocery shopping at Lira Main Market. Sources report that after purchasing food items and placing them in the car’s trunk, he collapsed as he opened the car door.

Following the collapse, he was swiftly transported to Lira Regional Referral Hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead after a brief period.
