Singer Ronald Mayinja expressed strong disapproval towards Bobi Wine and National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters, stating that they hold no significance for him and he wants no association with the political party. Mayinja, known for his controversial stance in politics, has not aligned himself with any specific political party, having been involved with both ruling and opposition parties in the past.

While residing in the UK a few months ago, videos circulated on social media depicting Mayinja’s quest for better opportunities and struggles abroad. Upon his return to the country, he promptly engaged with the media to share insights into his life and political views. Among the topics he discussed was his lack of affiliation with NUP and its leader, Bobi Wine, emphasizing that their words do not contribute to his well-being.

Mayinja, who has explored different political affiliations throughout his career, asserted that NUP and its supporters do not provide any tangible benefits for him. He highlighted his global experiences and claimed to have achieved everything he desired, stating that NUP does not play a role in his life. In his words, “I have nothing to do with NUP, and they also don’t add anything to my life. I have accomplished almost everything I’ve ever wanted; even if I want to build in Munyonyo now, I can do it.”
