Kabale District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Hon. Naturinda Eliab Mporera, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Ndorwa West in Kabale District for the term 2026 to 2031, has urged Christians to prioritize their children’s education as a means to secure a brighter future.

Naturinda stressed the importance of parents recognizing their children as the future pillars of society and, consequently, investing in their education. He conveyed this message during the induction service of Rev. Katarihwa Godson and his wife, Betty Katarihwa, at the Mwiisi Church of Uganda Parish in Kikungiri Archdeaconry within the Diocese of Kigezi.

Hon. Eliab encouraged parents to acknowledge their role in molding their children’s upbringing and highlighted the vital role of education in this process. He further advised parents to keep their children engaged in constructive activities to deter them from negative behaviors.

Additionally, Hon. Eliab pointed out that a well-educated family with ten children can significantly contribute to the family’s future success.

This statement was made on Friday, October 13, 2023, during the registration of 364,421 students for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams. UCE candidates received their briefing on that day, and their geography exams will commence on Monday, October 16, 2023.
