Summary:

  • The highly anticipated B2C concert scheduled for May 10th, 2024, has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with Ray G’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on the same date. B2C’s decision has sparked speculation, with some questioning whether it was in support of Ray G or due to undisclosed reasons.

The eagerly awaited performance by the boy band trio B2C, originally slated for May 10th, 2024, has been pushed back. This change comes following a scheduling conflict with fellow artist Ray G, who recently announced his own concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on the same date.

Although B2C Entertainment had announced their concert first, Ray G, hailing from Mbarara, surprised many by unveiling plans for his “Ray G Live In Concert Twena HAMWE” show on May 10th at Lugogo Cricket Oval. This unexpected development disrupted the plans of both parties, leading them to scramble for a resolution.

Ray G’s decision to choose Lugogo Cricket Oval as the venue raised eyebrows, as it seemed unusually large for his profile, particularly given his base in Western Uganda, which isn’t as prominent in Kampala. Nonetheless, his dedicated fans have shown overwhelming support. With B2C postponing their concert, it appears they have alleviated the competition for Ray G, allowing him to take center stage for the day, unless another artist steps in.

It remains unclear whether B2C’s decision to postpone their concert was a show of solidarity with Ray G or due to other undisclosed reasons.

This isn’t the first time B2C has encountered a scheduling conflict. Last year, they found themselves up against the renowned singer Juliana Kanyomozi. Despite the simultaneous concerts, both acts managed to sell out their respective shows, thanks to differences in venue and audience.
