• A boda boda rider named Tuhaise, in his 20s and from Bugambaihe in Bwikara Sub County, Kagadi district, was killed by a speeding vehicle owned by the Kagadi district local government during a peaceful demonstration over the dilapidated Muhooro-Ndaiga Road. The deceased has been identified as only Tuhaise in his 20s a boda boda rider and resident of Bugambaihe in Bwikara Sub County, Kagadi district.

The deceased was allegedly knocked dead by a speeding vehice belonging to Kagadi district local government.

By press time, the body of the deceased was still lying in a pool of blood at the accident scene amidst heavy deployment of security personnel manning the demonstrators.

Residents had staged a peaceful demonstration over the poor state of Muhorro-Ndaiga Road which has taken years without being worked on, Examiner has learnt.
