Acting swiftly on intelligence reports, authorities apprehended Ndarike to prevent any potential harm. Subsequently, Ndarike was transferred to the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) for further investigation and handling.
The ADF, an Islamic fundamentalist group based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is accused by Ugandan authorities of orchestrating terror activities within Uganda.
Enanga emphasized, “Betrayal carries consequences. This apprehension highlights the steadfast dedication of the Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force and our territorial units in identifying and holding accountable those who forsake their pledge to defend our nation.”
He also urged all current and former security personnel to remain vigilant in safeguarding the nation and its people. “We will not tolerate acts of treachery and breach of trust,” Enanga asserted.
