LIRA, (Examiner) – Lira Resident City Commissioner Lawrence Egole has ordered for robust investigations into the death of Lira City Town Clerk, Theophilus Tibihika who perished in a road crash at Akalo, along Lira- Apac highway.

Tibihika according to the official statement released by North Kyoga regional Police spokesperson died on spot after getting involved in a fatal accident Monday morning.

The City boss who was driving a Toyota Hilux pick up registration number UAM 450V reportedly veered off the road before overturning multiple times.

Addressing Lira City Council leaders during the first preparatory meeting held at City Hall, Lira RCC Egole ordered that the late’s Lira home be cordoned off, and deep investigations instituted to ascertain the cause of death.

According to Egole, the late Tibihika was cited in one of the happening places in Lira City sunday evening.

Mayor Sam Atul questioned where he was going at that time of the morning as he called for investigation.
