Thugs Break into Masindi Church, Steal Amplifier, Generator

Police of Masindi district are investigating a case of burglary and theft of items belonging to Kikingura Church of Uganda in Kikigura village in Bwijanga sub county, Masindi district.

Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says on Sunday- last evening, one Joseph Kyamanywa, the lay leader of Kikingura COU, locked the church and went to his home to take a rest.

Hakiza told Examiner that Kyamanywa woke up at around 5:00am and found when thugs had broken into the church.

He says the thugs took off with an amplifier, generator and microphone.
