P.L.E Exams Begin Smoothly in Kakumiro

Kakumiro District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Nyakafunjo Primary School in Kakumiro District is off to a smooth start with the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) examinations. The school’s headteacher, Ssenyonga Wilson, assured The Black Examiner reporter that “everything is normal” and the initial phase of the exams is proceeding without any hitches.

A total of 28 pupils are taking the UNEB exams at Nyakafunjo Primary School, with 21 of them being the school’s own pupils and the remaining 7 from another institution. Headteacher Ssenyonga Wilson expressed his satisfaction with the examination process, stating, “No challenges have arisen so far since the exams began.”

The UNEB examination process is well-organized at Nyakafunjo Primary School, with UNEB officials, scouts, and invigilators ensuring that the integrity of the examination is maintained. The presence of these personnel adds an extra layer of assurance to both the school’s administration and the pupils taking the exams.

Moreover, Mr. Wilson reported that all pupils have reported to the examination center in good health. No sickness or health-related issues have been reported, ensuring that the pupils can focus on their examinations without any distractions. This healthy start to the exams demonstrates the school’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for its pupils during this crucial period.

The school administration has also emphasized the importance of a fair and transparent examination process. They have put measures in place to ensure that every pupils’s performance is accurately assessed, and no irregularities compromise the integrity of the UNEB exams.

Furthermore, several other government schools in the Kakumiro District were also reporting smooth and successful UNEB examination processes. Notably, Kiryamasasa Primary School, Kaigurumba Primary School, Kitaihuka Primary School, Kalangala Primary School, and Kyakuterekera Primary School, all government-run institutions, have been conducting their examinations without any significant challenges. Our reporters on the ground have observed that pupils from various schools are converging at these centers to take their UNEB exams. This collective achievement across these government schools not only reflects the competence and dedication of the pupils but also highlights the commitment of the educational authorities in Kakumiro District to ensure a conducive environment for quality education and standardized examination processes.

As of the time of this report, the pupils at Nyakafunjo Primary School were engrossed in their Mathematics examination, a subject that challenges their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. To ensure the smooth conduct of these exams and maintain the highest level of security and integrity, Gombolola Internal Security Organization (GISO) officer, Mr. Jonathan Niwasasire, was actively monitoring various examination centers in the region. Mr. Niwasasire’s presence and oversight play a crucial role in safeguarding the examination process and upholding the standards set by UNEB. His commitment to ensuring that the exams progress without any disruptions underscores the collective effort to provide a fair and reliable assessment of the pupils’ academic achievements.
