Mitooma District | The Black Examiner – Police in Mitooma District are investigating circumstances under which a police officer died in a motorcycle accident.
The single fatal accident happened at Karambi- Mukashansha-Kako trading center along Kashenshero-Mitooma road yesterday at around 12pm.
Marcial Tumusiime, the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson identified the deceased as Pc Denish Opoka, 26 a police officer attached to Mutara police station in Mitooma District.
It’s alleged that the deceased while riding a police motorcycle registration number Up 8812 Yahama blue in colour from Mukashasha side heading to Kashenshero direction lost control and hit a tree stump along the road side and died instantly.
He said the body was taken to Kitagata Hospital in Sheema District for postmortem as investigations into the matter are ongoing.
