Police Probe Mysterious Death in Rented Kasese Room

Kasese District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Rwenzori East Regional Police is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a 25-year-old man found dead this morning in a rented room in Kamulikwizi cell, Kasese Municipality.

The Regional spokesperson, SP. Luke Mbusa, confirmed the incident, identifying the deceased as Vincent Kadogo from Kibotha cell in Maliba sub-county, Kasese district. Kadogo’s lifeless body was found at Kasese Municipal health centre three Mortuary.

SP. Luke cautioned against making diversionary statements regarding Kadongo’s death, especially considering allegations that he was staying with his in-law.

Mr. Exavier Bagonza, the deceased’s elder brother, called for calm while the family awaits a postmortem report before transporting the body to Maliba. There are concerns of possible strangulation.

A neighbor, Mr. William Bwambale, expressed surprise at Kadogo’s sudden death, as he was seen having supper at his in-law’s home the previous evening.

Ms. Stella Ithungu, the wife of Bosinibami, who had divorced her husband, mentioned that she was astonished to hear about Kadogo’s death after having a lengthy discussion with him on the phone yesterday.

As of press time, Mr. Stephen Kule Bosinibami was in custody at Kasese central police station to assist with the ongoing police investigations.
