Among the individuals currently in custody are Geoffrey Twinamatsiko, Francis Barisigara, Hillary Nuwagaba, Joshua Kahigi, Oscar Akampurira, Paul Sabiti, Adolf Ainembabazi, Tonny Twinomusinguzi, Erasmus Katushabe, Alfred Nuwamanya, Jackson Habasa, Moses Tumushabe, Agnes Kyomuhangi, Nyinawomuntu Donata, Denis Mujunensi, Jasper Ahumuza, Francis Mwebaze, and Benjamin Akanyijuka, among others.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson, disclosed that the arrested individuals were found with opium, tools for breaking, and suspected stolen property. Furthermore, some motorcyclists were caught with concealed number plates, lacking a valid driving license, insurance, and other infractions.
