Kasese District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | There was Drama like scenario in Kasese central market this afternoon when an expectant mother locked herself inside one of the stalls in fear of her life after angry vendors wanted to pounce on her, over allegations of theft.

No official comment yet from Police, but Mr. Wilson B.Wahimba, the chairperson Kasese Central market vendors association confirmed the information and identified the suspect as Ms.Dorika Muhindo, a vendor in the same market.

Mr.Wahimba said Ms.Dorika who was rescued by Police, is alleged to have stolen four hundred fifty five thousand shillings from a mobile agent line of Ms.Agnes Ithungu Kabaka.

Wahimba said Ms.Dorika pleaded guilty and refunded the stolen money to Agnes.

Ms. Agnes Ithungu Kabaka said, the suspect Ms Dorika had proved innocent about allegations of theft but was tracked by MTN Company until she was arrested today.

To Ms. Janerose Kabugho and others alleged that vendors had been investigating Dorika over theft reports until she was netted.

The Government and church strongly condemns acts of theft but calls for hard work.
