Bushenyi District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Managing Director of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Eng Dr. Silver Mugisha, has encouraged school principals to place a strong emphasis on instilling discipline in their students, as it is the key to success in both academics and social life.

During his visit to Bushenyi Municipal Nursery and Primary School in Ruharo Ward, Central Division of Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality, Eng Mugisha stressed that it is the responsibility of teachers and administrators to address any unethical behavior exhibited by some students, as this behavior can hinder their ability to make a positive impact on their future lives and careers.

Eng Mugisha further emphasized that teachers should refrain from resorting to corporal punishment but instead focus on alternative disciplinary measures, providing students with guidance, knowledge, and skills. This approach, he noted, creates a conducive and holistic learning environment that ultimately leads to improved academic performance and results.

Deo Atuhaire, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, pointed out that although the school was established in 2018 and has experienced significant growth in enrollment each year, it continues to face challenges related to inadequate accommodations.
