S.4 Candidate Beats Up Teacher, Misses History Paper

Kamuli District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | An S.4 candidate from Kitayundwa Seed Secondary School in Kamuli district missed his History 241 paper after assaulting a teacher. The candidate, whose identity remains undisclosed, reportedly turned violent on October 24, 2023, resulting in his physical altercation with a teacher. Subsequently, he was accompanied by the police to sit for the East Africa History paper.

Jennifer Kalule, the UNEB Principal PRO, lamented that the candidate arrived 15 minutes late to the examination hall, which was beyond the recommended time.

In a separate incident, a candidate in Rukungiri also missed an exam on October 25th after being injured by a fellow student over a memory card. Ndyamuhaki, the victim, was cut by Promise Nuwamanya, who was also a candidate, using a machete, necessitating immediate medical treatment. Unfortunately, Ndyamuhaki arrived at the examination center after the designated 15-minute window.

On the other hand, Nuwamanya managed to sit for the paper, and an assault case was reported to Rukungiri Police Station.
