KAMPALA, (Examiner) – Pioneer Ghetto Kids group member Patricia Nabakooza is urgently reaching out to her supporters to combat a fraudulent online presence posing as her on X (formerly Twitter).

Nabakooza, who solely operates under her verified handle, has been distressed by the existence of the fake account @GhettoQueenUg, boasting nearly 30,000 followers. The impostor has been disseminating highly sexualized and contentious content, significantly tarnishing Nabakooza’s public image.

During a recent live stream on TikTok, Nabakooza clarified her lack of presence on X and implored her fans to join forces in reporting and eliminating the malicious account.

The fraudulent profile has been active for over a year, perpetuating damaging portrayals of the 21-year-old artist, depicting her as a romantically desperate individual seeking attention.

This distressing scenario is not unique to Nabakooza. Several other Ugandan celebrities, including Daniela Atim and Buganda’s Princess Katrina Ssangalyambogo, have fallen victim to similar online impersonation schemes.
