Gaster Lule, widely known as Ntake, orchestrated and fully sponsored a grand wedding reception at Nalukolongo in Rubaga Division. He arranged this as a gesture of gratitude for the unwavering dedication and loyalty of ten male employees.

This philanthropic entrepreneur organized the mass wedding on Saturday, October 28, at a magnificent venue in Nalukolongo, Rubaga Division. Lule, the proprietor and managing director of Ntake Group of Companies, expressed his appreciation, saying, “I also want to thank God for the parents of these young men for raising them well and giving them education up to the point where I met them and employed them,” as reported by Pulse Uganda.

As a church leader, Lule’s inspiration for this initiative came during a church service when he noticed that some of his employees hadn’t partaken in the Lord’s Supper due to their marital status. He was moved by this and took it upon himself to ensure that his employees had official marriages, thus removing any hesitations about participating in Holy Communion.

The newlyweds included couples like Ivan and Olivia, Francis and Faith, Hakeem and Fiona, Ashraf and Mastuula, Drake and Christine, John Ssali, and Generous Katushabe. This extraordinary mass wedding marked the second of its kind, with the first taking place in 2018.

The heartwarming gesture by Gaster Lule earned admiration from social media users who appreciated his demonstration of love and care for his employees. Fred Musoke commented, “Lule, may God bless you,” and Atwijuka Lilian Favour added, “May God bless him.”

In a similar vein, Mombasa witnessed a vibrant mass wedding in which 100 couples exchanged vows in a colorful ceremony. This event, held at Tononoka Hall, emphasized the significance of marriage in the Islamic community as part of the “Punguza Zinaa Campaign.” It aimed to address the financial barriers that prevent many young men from legalizing their unions.

Lubna Nassir, the founder of Mama Beauty Foundation, highlighted, “We usually do this activity as Ramadan approaches because many people do not understand the importance of marriage, and obstacles arise due to a lack of education. Except for the dowry, we handle everything,” as reported by NTV Kenya.
