The match saw Kitara maintaining their third position on the league table with 23 points, trailing leaders BUL FC by three points. BUL FC was scheduled to face Vipers on Friday at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Kitara had a promising start to the game, with a near-goal opportunity after five minutes, but Dudu Ramadhan missed a headed effort from a Paul Mucureezi corner.
