Throughout the 2023-24 international season, Uganda Men’s 7s head coach Tolbert Onyango has overseen a squad composed of both seasoned veterans and promising rookies. However, as he enters the new 2024-25 season, Onyango has reverted to his core group of players for the upcoming 2024 Rugby Africa Men’s 7s in Mauritius.
The twelve-man squad representing Uganda this weekend consists of athletes Onyango has coached for over five years, with Karim Arinaitwe being the exception, having joined the team post-COVID-19 pandemic.
