Vipers SC will make their final push for a third consecutive championship as they host Mbarara City FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, this Saturday.

The Venoms, sitting third on the table with 53 points from 28 matches, are just one point behind leaders SC Villa, who face off against NEC FC. Meanwhile, BUL FC, also with 53 points, and Kitara FC, with 52 points, will take on Busoga United and Gaddafi FC, respectively.

Vipers come into this crucial match buoyed by a 2-1 victory over Busoga United, thanks to goals from Milton Karisa and Abdul Nsereko.

The first encounter between Vipers and Mbarara City this season ended in a goalless draw at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.

Historically, Vipers have dominated Mbarara City with four wins, five draws, and two losses in their previous 11 meetings, scoring 12 goals and conceding eight.

As the final day unfolds, fans can expect another nail-biting conclusion to the Uganda Premier League season.
