Deliveryman Dies after High Speed Chase with Police

A twenty-year-old father of one, Jesus Sacul, lost his life during a high-speed chase with the police. The unfortunate event took place on West San Martin Street, in the northern region, after the police mobile collided with the motorcycle driven by Sacul’s nephew, Jairo Guerra. The impact caused the motorcycle to crash into a concrete wall, resulting in severe injuries to both riders.

The tragic incident has rekindled painful memories of another fatality just four months ago. In March of this year, Dyandre Chee, a nineteen-year-old father, faced a similar fate when he was pursued by a police pickup truck and shot dead by an officer.

As the investigation into this recent incident unfolds, authorities are closely examining the circumstances surrounding the police’s decision to engage in the high-speed pursuit. The loss of two young lives has left families and communities devastated, raising concerns about the safety and appropriateness of such pursuits.

The bereaved family members and friends of Jesus Sacul mourn his untimely passing while praying for a swift recovery of Jairo Guerra, who remains hospitalized and is currently under police guard. News Five’s Duane Moody will be reporting on the developing story to bring further insights into this tragedy and its aftermath.
