The body of 31-year-old businessman Ismail Naddo, who went missing in Masindi, was discovered on Friday in a sugar cane plantation in Katugo village, Kiruli sub-county. Naddo, a resident of Kirasa II Cell in Masindi Municipality, had disappeared on October 1 while riding his motorcycle, registration number UFQ 670U.

After days of searching, his family reported his disappearance to Masindi police. The grim discovery was made by cane cutters, who found his body with severe head wounds, suggesting he was attacked and killed, likely during a robbery. His motorcycle remains missing.

Julius Hakiza, spokesperson for the Albertine region police, confirmed that a postmortem revealed Naddo died from injuries inflicted during the attack. Police investigations are ongoing.
