Police in Kikuube district are holding two suspects for allegedly murdering one Benjamin Henry Kaija 64-year-old, a retired teacher and resident of Rwomubazi LC1 Buhimba east ward in Buhimba town council.

Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine region police spokesperson says Kaija was last seen in good health on Saturday evening, according to his grandson, Hillary Barungi. The family was shocked to discover his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood in his garden on Sunday morning where he had gone to pick vegetables.

Hakiza adds that when police was informed about the murder it embarked on investigations using its sniffer dog that led them to Mwesigye and Kaahwa all residents of the same place.

He says police picked up the duo to help them with investigations.
